Location
Voice Intensive is held in the theatres and studios of the University of British Columbia. The campus overlooks the magnificent Straight of Georgia and the Burrard Inlet and is within walking distance of many beautiful beaches and amenities. The stunning natural surroundings offer a rich environment in which to approach the voice work. There are a large number of on campus accommodations available for participants.
On-campus living
UBC offers a large selection of accommodation ranging in price from approximately $35 for accommodations only to $55 for room and board. Living arrangements can be made through the UBC and the Conferences UBC web sites. The contacts below have been popular with previous Voice Intensive participants.

If you know you will be staying on campus and would like to share a communal space with other participants, please contact us as soon as possible so we can put you in touch.
The campus also has a state-of-the-art gym, and the UBC Aquatic Centre offers both indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna, weight room, steam room, and whirlpool. The bookstore, several cafeterias, coffee shops, restaurants, and pubs are also available on campus.
Off-campus options
If you choose to live off campus, keep in mind that UBC is just up from neighbourhoods like Dunbar, Kitsilano, West Point Grey, and Kerrisdale. Living close to public transportation is also strongly recommended. Please include time to walk from UBC bus station to the theatre, which is about a 10-minute stroll.
